They are a well known BMW indy shop in the area. Since two or three cylinders were full of antifreeze it is deduced that the block is ruined. A head gasket only would have been a little more minor....

Does anyone find it interesting that they changed the alternator the day before the engine blew. Shop offered half price on labor as a sorry for your loss jesture and being a long time customer but...

already did. Best you can get an engine is 2000...

already did. Best you can get an engine is 2000 w/o warranty. 3000 with warranty. I can put car as is on ebay.

New alternator and interstate battery last week
new brakes and rotors two months ago
new coils
new tires over winter. great tread.
