Question Right-side CV boot repair / ride level sensor question

I have a 01 X5 3.0 with auto leveling xenons. I don't have the automatic leveling system on the suspension. I'm changing the CV boots on the right side and have discovered the "ride level sensor"...

Correction to my statement that the intake camshaft position sensor is leaking oil. It is the intake camshaft VANOS solenoid that is leaking oil. Guess I may need to replace them both.

There is no mention of the word "sensor" in the error code explanation from Peake. The vehicle's driveability is not affected.....runs just fine. Matter of fact I cleared the code and it stayed...

Yes it is tight. Looks like to me you would almost have to remove the throttle body but I'm sure the seasoned mechanic has a trick or two to avoid going that route. I think I'll leave this alone...
