I replaced the oil filter housing and it completely fixed the startup rattle. The check valves at the bottom of the housing go bad.

They should be able to rebuild yours as well as rebuild the torque converter.

Just get the longer driveshaft from cobra transmission. Going through with spacers or welding yourself is just a waste of time when you can buy a properly built driveshaft.
