Turbo lag is almost completely gone in that engine since it uses two turbochargers -one for low revs another for mid and highs. 4.4 TT is way faster - more HP and much more torque.

Yeah, mechatronic's only positive is that it sits quite handy for being freaking replaced. It takes less then an hour to do the job by prof.
