I picked my wife up a 2008 X5 today to replace her E53 it has the ccc I drive and I'm looking at swapping out the screen to the android Xtrons unit and it states you retain original...

Auto opening boot hooked up for £0.66p, Also went a head and painted my wheels

After seeing this done I thought I could do that at little to no expense and I was right with it only costing me 0.66p for a pair of springs.

If anyone else was thinking of doing the same thing...

I looked at wiring it to work with the central locking once I had everything apart before wiring it to the ignition and the easiest way would be to use the trigger wires from the control module...
