Can I delete fuel heating system ?

I am cleaning up my engine bay with new hoses/pipes etc on the hunt for issues on my 3.0d.
I have no need for my fuel to be heated so I want to delete it all. Anyone done this ?.

I must have a loose wire stopping mine working. Every time I push to clear the message off my dash to view other things the message pops up again right away. Finding that wire ain't going to be fun.

Going to use the maf housing and an airbox from the E53 4.4 model to keep it all tidy.
Reducer off the turbo into a 3 inch pipe then to the maf and box being 3.5inch.
