Don't know if it will help on the mpg but it sure looks kool and low since I dropped the back suspension 3" and the front 2". As soon as I get some pics, I will post.

No pics yet, the plugs are plastic pop in's found in the specialty bins, either black or white. I used the white ones being my truck is silver.

Plugs for roof rack delete

To fill the holes left by the brackets, it takes 8- 11/16 plugs and 2- 5/8 plugs, purchased at Lowes, paint to match, a little clear silcone and pop them in the holes for a water tight fix.

E53 roof rail delete

Just deleted my roof rails on my 2006 x5. Everything unbolts from the outside.
Once the rails and hardware is off, your left with 10 holes through the body. It takes 8- 11/16 plugs and 2- 5/8 plugs...
