Startup emissions problem

Besides the MAF problem I noted in the previous post I'm also told that the air injection system that runs for a couple minutes at startup has a problem. Is there any common failure and common fix...

Got Breather?

I just replaced my battery with an Interstate (the original mfg of the BMW batteries in our X's). I found that the old battery had no breather hose attached! There's a fitting in the plastic...

It's un-Acceptable!

After messing with my old Mk2 1/30 for a while trying to upgrade the OS, I finally succeeded in getting it to 1/81. But now I have that %$#@! Accept screen to deal with. In my original 1/30 version...

When I swapped mine out for some black grills I didn't check the clearance with the release lever. It wasn't until I needed to open the hood that I found the lever was blocked by the new grill.

Finally, success!

I looked closely at BimmerNav's instructions and settled on using the 211.ccd file I had downloaded and extracted. I used CloneCD to write it at 1x speed. When I loaded it into the nav system the...

I used CloneCD, as suggested on this forum. I burnt only the largest of the compacted files, which are over 200MB each. There wasn't much confusion there. The first file is a .mdf, as extracted...

I have a 2000 X5 4.4 with the original navigation: 2-1/30. From looking around at this website I decided to try to upgrade the OS. I tried v26 at 4x - no go, at 1x - no go, and then v21 at 1x - also...

I just replaced both of my front lower control arms and see from the forum that a proper alignment requires weights in the seats. What are the specifics - # of lbs and locations? I searched and...
