I like the car for sure but my thoughts on this are how can BMWs brand survive these negative experiences. I have 2 Nissan Z cars and never have the seals turned to stone or have valve train issues....

Thanks, I have done valve cover gaskets before, along with sensors and vanos solenoids. I have the tools and was thinking i may purchase a timing tool and see if that will get me thru it.

I swapped the old ones back in and it made no difference.

Trying to drive it causes failsafe to kick in now.
