Sorry to resurrect a very old thread but I've had exactly the same happen to my 4.8is, fuel was pissing out over the engine!


Did you just reconnect the two parts or did it require new parts ?

So a visual on all the height sensors and wiring says they "look" ok.

I tried to remove the plug from the suspect sensors but it doesn't want to come off and I'm concerned the brittle plastic...

I am also worried that is the case, at least I know where to find the module after spending an hour or so inside the boot removing wheels etc and then going to the right spot behind the glove box!

Yet another air suspestion thread

I did search around but can't find anything with this same issue....


My air suspension threw the "inactive don't exceed 60kmh" message the other day but then went away only to return and stay on...

Just in case anyone is interested I got the 25mm H&R spacers for the rear and with those and the rings everything works fine. The wheels sit out nicely and fill the wheel arches rather than siting...

Looking at other threads everyone has used 20-30mm spacers on the rear, that would fix any rubbing issues by a mile.



Anyone know off the top of their head the max spacer you can use without...

20" wheels from E70 onto E53

Hi Everyone,


Has anyone done this before, take 20" 4.8 E70 rims and put them on an E53 ?





I've had my 4.8iS E53 for a couple of years now and just recently managed to put cracks in...
