Don't also forget long term maintenance costs (after your free full maintenance expires, if you keep the car longer). generally v8s cost more to maintain than an I6.

try pricing both out with the same options you...
try pricing both out with the same options you want on the BMW NA website. A lot is already included with the 4.8 that is an option in the 3.0 (so will have to select those on the 3.0 to compare...
