Once the round cover on the back is removed, literally one twist of the bulb and it pulls right out. You'll notice two small white "clips" on either side of the wiring that you have to pull back...

My 2006 4.8is does the same thing every once in a while...I can re-adjust it after I put it in drive and it works just fine...other times it returns to it's regular position on it's own.
