2400 mile trip
I just got back from a 2400 mile trip myself.
I averaged about 17MPG, but mine was mostly highway driving and using cruise control. My main observations are:

5) the steering wheel heater is a MUST for cold weather climates. It's awesome.
Also, PDC is VERY handy. The beeping is too loud, but I use it...
