Before when I reset the light it would come on the same day. After I replaced the fuel filter with OEM one, its been now 900 miles no check engine light anymore :bmw:

Solution for this issue found

After driving with a check engine light on for one year, I finally fixed it.
It turned out back in 2015 I changed the fuel filter and used a Mahle filter I bought on Amazon for around $50 or so.

Front Diff

I just did mine 3.0i front diff.
Previous owner ran it without any oil.
Bought another Diff with 75K miles on it. installed it , replaced all the seals, refilled her.
Good to go.

Also the dealer confirmed Pentosin is good for both transmissions.

Here is how the engine looks after the previous owner only ran Castrol Synthetic on it, oil changed every 10.000 for 126.000 Miles as recommended by BMW.

Oil is guaranteed for 15000 Miles, I do an oil change every 6 months or prior to winter and prior to summer.
If you do an oil change every 10.000 miles your oil will still be good since it is made...
