The problem mainly is that the faulty seatmat is a inconsistent problem.
The failure starts with wrongly interpreting if there is a child or a adult on the seat, that's long before the system...

First time simply the battery light came on while driving. Got towed to a mechanic....alternator replaced. Second time was 2 years ago...turned on the car in the morning... a hell of a noise similar...

I took it out a few days ago to cut the cable...

I took it out a few days ago to cut the cable that goes to the phone (wires were broken causing the fuse to blow...) I didn't need any pry tool, the surface inside has enough grip to just pull it out...

Switching back and forth between 5-12V is normal behavior.... the system tries to feed the pump, as soon as it recognizes no power consumption it switches back to 5v and checks again after a few...
