Check the intake boot and make sure it is not torn or cracked. I had a similar problem as you described and it was due to the elbow boot being torn.

Renntech X5M 12.2sec. 1/4mile

Renntech has a X5M putting out 512 all wheel horsepower putting down a 12.2 1/4 mile. Not to shabby for a 5000lb tank.

Expansion tank died at 311,000

Hey Guys,

My expansion tank finally died at 311,000 or so. Yesterday it sprung a small leak. Got a new one on its way this morning and she will be back on the road and logging miles.
