Broke two of the air vent, of all things. Fixed the rear one, but bought a used part on e-bay for the front pass side. The silver guide lever came adrift in both cases.

Yup, $3K only and we started at $2.4K. KBB trade was about $3.4K, but they did make it up on the other end with student discounts, etc. KBB retail was about $4.6K.

The maintenance is covered during the lease. The only items not covered are the run-flat tires (if cut) and headlight bulbs (!).

I have checked with the dealer he can't find the part number after I couldn't find it on real oem. What I did was make my own ground strap using a thick piece of copper wire, insulated.

When I bought my E70 in Feb. I went 6 cyl. It is by no means a guarantee - I had a fuel pump leak that was covered under the extended warranty - but I'll trade the ultimate in power for a few less...

I've got 'em both, a 2002 E53 with 136K an a 2009 E70 with about 60K. Both are 3.0s. The E53 with Sport Package is definitely more athletic - you sense no really less weight, but the wheelbase...
