I can control the time that the pathway lighting stays on in idrive, but I haven't found the controls for the welcome lights (yet)...

On a car where almost everything can be adjusted and tuned to your liking, a simple feature like welcome lights can not be modified...:dunno:

it just shuts off way to soon
and pathway illumination is nice when you leave your car, but is useless when entering your car...

Is it possible to increase the duration that the welcome lights stay illuminated?
It annoys me that the welcome lights shut off when I close the boot and still have to work my way to the drivers...

6FL Y cable for ipod: new part number

just picked up my Y-cable from the dealer this afternoon
part number is 61 12 0 440 812 and is suited for Ipods with dockconnector after launch 2004.
It works like a charm with my latest gen Ipod...

I just found (and ordered) these in Germany:

they come with an integrated resistor so iDrive should not display any faults......

I agree that the camera is pretty useless when...

I agree that the camera is pretty useless when driving forward but...I'd be happy to have it go off at 15mph (or stay on forever for that matter) if it would give a clear view...:D
