This is completely false. You can have factory navigation WITHOUT DSP. My car is proof of this. I have the AVIN 1 and never had battery issues.

The glare is a little bit better than OE Navigation - Contrast and brightness is improved, however the angle of the screen makes it susceptible to glare. Closing the sunroof shade helps a lot.

The dock can be used with the newer simplicity products available from bavsound.com. But I heard they also work with Intravee as well. You just need an adapter so you can wire other devices.
