absolutely, that is why I say "if you want one make sure it has a warranty". I would be out over $10K in the suspension parts and labor alone. I don't think you can put $10k in a American cars...

If it was replaced under 4/50 you might get it pro-rated ( some credit) towards the replacement. If its the orginal, no luck under cpo.

You can ask all you want, to look at a possible problem. BMW USA will not listen or allow a part to be installed. Only what they recommend.
