I purchased two front rims style 87's from wheels and caps last year. They were great to deal with and the rims were perfect. I am running 20's for the winter and needed 4 front rims all around to do so. I would use them again with out doubt.

Looks like they just dropped the price. What you guys think of Michelins Latitude Tour HP tires. Looks like they have double the tread life compare to diamaris and it is all season tire.

I purchased my wheels from Wheels and Caps. I was very satisfied with them. And yes it is cheaper.

I would like to thank everyone for voting and your valuable feedbacks. Based on your votes, I finally went with Wheels and Caps deal. Along with Style 168 rims, I also ordered Michelins Latitude HPs Tires. It's been over a week and I still did not received anything. I hope, I will get them early next week.

 Special note for Canadians, be prepared to drop another $500 to Canadian border dogs called Canada Customs. I was prepared to pay ~$100-$150, but not $500. They charged me for each rim and each tire separately.
In any case, at this point I don’t care anymore. I just want it on my car ASAP. Let me drive them for a few weeks and then I will share my experience.

What would that set w/the new michelins run you in US dollars?

delje08 09-12-2006 04:08 AM

Wheels and Cap $799 + $100 shipping
TireRack Michelin Latitude $1210 plus shipping depending where you are located.
And whatever it cost to get it mounted and balance.

I paid $2,459 including shipping. It cost me another $500 to pass the border, but i guess it got nothing to do with W&C.

I want a set too. Seems like the poll is 50/50 right now.
It's a hard decision.

Any bad experiences from any Wheels & Caps or Eurotech?
Heard OEM center caps fit W&C wheels but not sure about the Eurotech ones? Heard the center caps on some replicas are slightly different size and also sometimes rub off, fade, or fall off.

I got my set from Eurotech. They came with center caps. They are a little loose than OEM, but secure enough that they won't fall off. Come on by and examine them if you like. I have been happy with them
