I stand by the assertion that no 'real' high performance car' has both.

Also. drilled rotors care not just stock rotors drilled and heat cycled. The rotor is designed with holes. So vendors that take a stock rotor blank, drill them and slot them, to make people feel they are modding, are doing them no favors.

Just my opinion- dont want to interfere with a sponsor selling mods.

Gotcha.

And I am with you on rotors being designed with those in mind.

I will probably just get the brembo rps kit from ecs, myself. But I was looking into the ecs rotors, I had slotted rotors on my old xterra and it seemed to make a difference. You couldn't really see the rotor, so it wasn't that I was doing it to look cool, I just wanted to make sure that I could stop as well as possible.

I had HPS' and they were alright, at best. Cold bite wasn't the greatest and they were fairly squeaky even after bedding them in several times. I also had the Hawk Ceramics and wasn't too impressive with them either.

I'm currently on Stoptech pads with blanks, and they are much better than the Hawks. I am running the Hawk DTC pads on my track car which are great, just didn't have the same experience with the street pads from hawk.
