I actually prefer regular bulbs in the turn. They are BRIGHTER in daylight IMO.

Couple of pondering on the tails...
My left tail keeps burning out and either I get it corrected which costs $$ or just buy a set of LEDS. The tailgate is interesting but I doubt the bulb holders are the same. I did the read Foglight MOD and LOVE it on foggy if not really inclement weather days are drivers are oblivious around me..... Hard to tell without seeing these in person. The Depo projector lights are interesting, but UGH, the shround kills it the minute I see it.... |
Too late I guess, $250 for LEDs on eBay:

do we have an install yet?
|
Yes we do, follow the link:
http://www.xoutpost.com/x5-e53-forum/40115-pictures-led-taillights-installed.html?highlight=installed+led 3 Things I've noticed so far which would make my decision not to buy those LEDs: 1. Look cheap, only 18 LEDs per tail light, should be around 30 since X5 has fairly large tail light 2. LED reflectors poorly designed, light reflects from inner chrome walls 3. Absolutely useless/nonfictional imitation of Celis lines. Quote:
