Thanks for the tip, I'll probably give those selling suggestions a shot.
Thankfully I won't be short a vehicle as I can drive my SRT8 Jeep until the ///M arrives. The only reason I haven't attempted to sell the 4.8is is becauase I need to know the exactly how much it will be out the door. Given the ecomony, etc... this purchase is a real streach, so every dollar counts. The only reason I'm considering this truck is because I've been waiting for an ///M model ever since I purchased my first X5 in '00. |

Me 2.... Me 2.... and to be perfectly honest.. I don't know if I'm going to be able to wrangle the deal I want.. But I'm still going to fight for $500 over invoice on purchase price. Or I'm going to wait a while until I can get that number. |

What are your thoughts in comparison of the SRT8 vs 4.8iS? I recently saw a rendering for the 2012 SRT8 with a potential 6.4L hemi V8. I'm curious if it will qualify Chrysler's business-case, considering their financial dilemma. |

Only 20 X5Ms coming to this country (and 25 X6Ms), and stealerships have approximately 2-3 persons on waiting lists for each type. What they have done here, is award M-stealership status to particular dealers, these will then get a preferential allocation. Both models are pretty loaded but expensive.

^ my local dealership has an `08 M5 they can't seem to give away, last I checked I think they were advertising $12,000 off...
EDIT: Scratch that, MSRP $94,120, Internet price $77,989, little over $16,000 off. And they already have 2010 model 5 series cars on the lot... |
