Clear Bra installed today

Got my XPel clear bra installed today. Keith, from ClearBraOhio came to my house and installed it. Fantastic job. There isn't a full kit for the X5 or X5M available, so it was a custom job. Took about 4.5-5 hours. Have to say, I am very, very pleased. Will have him do our 750ix Individual later this year. Anybody in the greater Cincinnati, Ohio, KY or Indiana region looking for a professional and fantastic job, let me know and I will shoot you his info.

Some pics...

Looks nice. Did you cover the entire hood? If so, were they able to do it with just one piece?

Thanks
Marc

i have a feeling it cost at least $1000

A little north of that...But, yes it covers the entire hood. Once piece. There was a little piece necessary to be placed under the grill, however, the seem is almost entirely invisible there, and is in such a place that you can see it.

Looks good, very good.

Did you do the rear fenders or rockers?

$1000??? They can keep it!

It is worth every penny if you appreciate keeping your paint somewhat intact if you live in an area where there are a lot of potholes, loose pavement, coal trucks, etc. When you spend $100k on a car, then $1000-1500 is not that much.

I hear yeah, but most of these cars are leased & in the end someone else enjoys your hard earned money.

Why do you think most are leased? I think there are way too many people on this site that spend time and money upgrading their X5 to have it being leased. But I could be wrong

Mine is bought. I paid around $1,000 for the entire hood, front bumper and both front fenders. I will have to have my guys look into Xpel. The 3M came in a sheet that did not cver the entire hood.
