Thanks! I love them as well! I had the dealer put these wheels on before i took delivery, couldn't drive it with the stocks on, but i am thinking about putting them on for winter.

I had the factory 20" rims painted and use them for snow tires. Works great.

Good idea, maybe i will paint them black and use them during winter while saving my 21" rims from any damage! Yet again its not an everyday car as i have a couple trucks for winter time.

Yeah, no joke. Be careful with that, some dealers can be very "hard up" about voiding of the warranty when there's 3rd party software installed. Hopefully you'll find a BMW contact who is relaxed enough to "let it slide". I would test the waters ahead of time, sort of like "Yeah, I got this friend who got a software re-tune on his new BMW, what's your guys' stance on servicing a vehicle like that?"
It's bad enough getting your warranty nullified by 1 dealer, but I would imagine once they enter your VIN into the system there's a risk that other dealers will also know about it.

Start testing the waters and that's the first thing I'd check for after you walked away. IF you're going to ask that question, I'd call the SA anonymously over the phone and ask, not in person.

That gray area with BMW & tunes is the only reason i prefer to stick with Dinan...there have been far enough experiences with vehicle issues , in which BMW themselves can't seem to drill down to the root cause...such as the faults some are currently experiencing on their new XM's. My thoughts are that it's easy enough to attribute certain failures on a new XM, with non-BMW-approved tune, to the tune itself. Not sure what warranty or policy is offered with your flash, should such an unfortunate case present itself.

The Euro shops (2) that have managed my Dinan tunes, offer to reinstall or re-flash back to Dinan spec should a dealer mistakenly erase...for free, anytime.
