I have the 04 to 06...my vote is in this direction. I like having a dipstick. I like the fact of not having to register a new battery. The cost of owning the thing is declining greatly! However, you must be able to do the work yourself! This is key! Forget about it! If your going to have someone do any type job for you. Mechanics hate BMW...Simple repairs can be a pain.
If you have a wealth of time and patience and your good at reading and research an communicating a problem... go for it! With the repairs your going to have...your going to save yourself a lot of money! Only if your going to do the jobs yourself. [emoji41]
