The X3 is my daily driver. I have a 1 and 1/2 mile commute to work and she is kept in the garage unlocked. I actually took the whole door panel off because I was not aware of that small hole.

The key I used daily for my X3, one morning did not work. When asking the dealer about a replacement my service advisor said it was quite common for the batteries just to 'give way'.

So it does happen...

You are probably right, but I like the way it looks. Plus it will give me a reason to use the Roadside Assistance if I get locked out :thumbup:
