Wow, haven't been on this board for awhile. Nice to see so many new members and so many new X3s! The reason for my absense is because of my new toy! It's a 2004 yellow Kawasaki Ninja 250.

It's still stock right now but MODs are coming. And I will have to say, mods on the bike is so much cheaper than on the X, hahahahaha.

A bud back in NY, who races M'cycles regularly, has
an '03 for a DD 2 lane carver. I rode his briefly, and
enjoyed it, though at this age & size, it made for
a brief ride. A real flicker and carver, though.

First bike? You're going to outgrow it QUICK! It's a great little bike to learn on but as you become more experienced you'll yearn for more power. Check out a Ninja 500R for similar egronomics but substantially more power. That was my first bike, had it for 2 years and upgraded to a Kawi Z1000! man, was that thing fast. 0-60 in 3 seconds?? It was tough to hang on... :)

Thanks for all the responses guys. I always wear all my protective gear. I even took the MSF course.

I was thinking about getting a 500cc bike like a GS500F but since I only have a carport for the time being, I decided to go w/ a smaller and cheaper 250cc bike. Plus i got this flawless 04 ninja 250 w/ 940 miles (not a scratch or dent) for only $2100!

I plan on upgrading to an R6 once I get a place w/ a garage. Off the line, the 250 is still shit in my pants fast. It just lacks the power once you get up to higher speeds.
