Just dropping in.

Wow, haven't been on this board for awhile. Nice to see so many new members and so many new X3s! The reason for my absense is because of my new toy! It's a 2004 yellow Kawasaki Ninja 250.

It's still stock right now but MODs are coming. And I will have to say, mods on the bike is so much cheaper than on the X, hahahahaha.

MB, Nice pocket rocket!

A bud back in NY, who races M'cycles regularly, has
an '03 for a DD 2 lane carver. I rode his briefly, and
enjoyed it, though at this age & size, it made for
a brief ride. A real flicker and carver, though.

Keep it between the fences!
Ya'll oughta come around more, too...

Nice bike, but I'm a Harley man myself. I would kill myself on something that fast.

First bike? You're going to outgrow it QUICK! It's a great little bike to learn on but as you become more experienced you'll yearn for more power. Check out a Ninja 500R for similar egronomics but substantially more power. That was my first bike, had it for 2 years and upgraded to a Kawi Z1000! man, was that thing fast. 0-60 in 3 seconds?? It was tough to hang on...

Great looking bike! Be safe, and enjoy!

Welcome back, by the way.

Thanks for all the responses guys. I always wear all my protective gear. I even took the MSF course.

I was thinking about getting a 500cc bike like a GS500F but since I only have a carport for the time being, I decided to go w/ a smaller and cheaper 250cc bike. Plus i got this flawless 04 ninja 250 w/ 940 miles (not a scratch or dent) for only $2100!

I plan on upgrading to an R6 once I get a place w/ a garage. Off the line, the 250 is still shit in my pants fast. It just lacks the power once you get up to higher speeds.
