X5 Rims on X3
I'm looking for a set of used 17" X3 Rims for the winter but all I can find are X5 Rims. Do you know if the X5 rims will fit on X3 properly?
Or if you have a set of used 17" OEM X3 rims for sale then let me know. Sincerely, Vs1 |

I had the same thought not too long ago, since Motordavid was intent on selling his Style 57 rims+winters. Turns out the offset is different on the two vehicles. So although they're the same diameter (17") and the tire size is similar, the offset makes it difficult to swap.

I use a set of M5 rims on my 2006 X3 and they work fine (17")

Quote:
offset between an ET 40 X3 wheel and an ET46 X5 wheel is 6 millimeters or 2/10ths of an inch. |
