Off Road in the X
Did a little off road-ing in Arches National Park, UT. I have to say, the X handled itself beautifully. Here are 3 vids. Enjoy!

Cool vids MystikBlueX3! Bet you had a blast.
You're the FIRST person I've seen that has the same wheels I have! (Style 114) |

x3 = not suitable for off roading did anyone happen to see that top gear episode when they took the x3 off roading? |

BTW, didn't they try to pull it out with a Land Rover and failed? As I recall they had to get a tractor. Nor did they show the Land Rover going through the same area. (Gee, I wonder why... ) FWIW, I've passed Land Rovers stuck on an icy hill in my X3 and I'm running on performance tires! As was intened I have no plans to go rock crawling or mud bogging in it but a little light off-roading is always fun. ;) |
yea i actually took the my old x5 (e53) actual off roading once while camping....
not a good idea considering the ground clearance on the x ended up denting the muffler, and bottoming out a few times, painfully accelerating as i hear the sound of metal to rock shit happens when ur with 10 guys, few brews, in the wilderness however it did alot better than my buddy's s10 |
Looks like you had a great time, that park is beautiful
