Similar thing happen to me. I went to the dealer and had a computer reprogrammed. That didn't help. Mine downshifts on freeway at 60-75mph even while in cruise control. Dealer is saying this is just how it drives, but my other one, same year, 2006, doesn't have this issue. I am thinking about contacting a lawyer. Should I reach out to BMW NA first?
