Looks good. Our X3 has done very well in winter conditions, but rock chips from sanding the roads are taking a toll after 8 years.
In an earlier post you mentioned non NJ German build. New Jersey? North Carolina? Our X3 was built in Austria by a contractor, Magna Steyr, and I had thought all the E83s were. |
i thought the Spartanburg plant was nj but looks like your right, also I misread the 2010+ is us apparently x3 was a lot different than x5

I'm actually super interested in the city lights, just noticed the gf's e83 already has the openings for them in the reflector, but wondering where/from what other vehicle you get the bulb carriers and connectors.

I had some hanging around I forgot from what but you can buy 194 holders off eBay mine are just wired to the fog lights

So no special et fingers like on e32/34/30 etc required? Very cool.
I'd probably do them like my e34 by disconnecting the corner park lead and leaving those corner bulbs as turn signal only. |
Finally got my nav retro all done =] works great really love the mk4 BMW nav with the updates it just as good as any smart phone =]

Nice updates, mine is barebones but looking to add a sport wheel. You know if steering wheel remotes would work?
