transfail safe
Hello everyone, well I'm stumped, recently I dropped my 4.4 off at a local electronics shop to have a xenon replaced. When I picked it up the battery was almost dead, not fully though, it did need a jump, which he did with a box. Everything seemed fine but then the tranny acted like it was slipping. Then the fail safe. So since then I've disconnected the battery for at least an hour and unfortunately the problem remains. Every time I start it failsafe is gone until the tranny acts up again which doesn't take long. Any ideas would be awesome thanks everyone.

Did you charge or replaced the dead battery?
^in addition to above, check voltage with obc, test 9.
Low voltage can cause many electrical gremlins. |
Yes it's a new battery, and the whole time it was disconnected it was charging. Just over an hour. Maybe I should charge it more? It started perfectly.
Also, the shop had left the lights on which is why it went low.
charge until the battery is fully charged, then try again and report back
So disconnect the battery again and charge?
Yes, a low or failing battery can cause that error.

Ok so j had it on the charger all night and ended up with 12.8. Reconnected and it seemed fine with a very light pedal. Then when I started giving it a little more throttle it started up again. Also it is just fine in manual. Thanks again. Very frustrating....
