whilst I was out checking my oil I noticed this , , do you think this would cause any problems with the running of the car , or will it be ok with it being sealed ?

looks like its sealed ok , but I thought id get peoples opinions tbh, I know its a £10 part, so its not expensive to buy new ,
all tho looks like ive another problem gearbox related will post separate on that one .

I go on holiday when I come back she bitches about it , go figure :)

if it was leaking air you would probably hear it whistling. I'd suspect it was fine though

Hell Yea , mine was throwing codes like crazy , replaced , cleared the codes, done, but mines is a 06 also

The part that is cracked is just the handle. It is outside the sealing ring. Supposed to make it purdy.

That's not a fatal flaw, but you should replace the cap when it's convenient to do so. Sooner rather than later, but don't take Uber instead of drive your car.

I replaced mine some time ago too.Stupid mechanic broke it when changing my oil.But life goes on.
