Suspension Issue How hard is it for a novice?

Lately I have noticed a squeaking in my passenger wheel area now its starting effect my brakes. Sometimes I hear brake rubbing. I am assuming my struts are shot causing a massive camber issue etc. My inner tires are also toasted

First off any one have an idea if its the struts or possibly something else?

How hard is it to do are there any articles on it?

Its the standard suspension not the self leveling system thank god.

If you have the special tools, it's easy. Anyway here DIY.

The squeak is most likely coming from one or more of the three. Rear ball joints, guiding link, or the wishbone. They are not that hard to replace.... The ball joints do require a special tool however.

Really? And did you end up doing that repair? How much was it and did the problem get fixed?

I'm getting it done this Saturday. I'm doing my rear control arms and spring seat pads, labor would be $360 but I don't know if that included my rear brakes that need to be done also

Some people refer to them as control arms...

I just worded it as real.oem does.

RealOEM.com - Online BMW Parts Catalog

6 & 11 are the control arms. 2 is the ball joint.
