Any one k ow where I can locate the torque values for the bracket in TIS. I searched under n62 engine and nothing could not find it

Anyone know the size of the bolts that hold the bracket to the block?
I am pretty sure it is some E-Torx / Torx. I talked to a retired mechanic buddy, and he said he did it on the e70 without removing diff. He managed to get at it with a flex head socked, on a short extension. He also said he fit a normal socket, not an e-torx to get this accomplished. I trust him, because he managed to do my motor mounts, both sides, in about an 1.5 hours. He just doesn't remember what size he used. And since I really need to get this addressed, I will be ordering an assortment of e-torx flex, and anything else I can think of to make this job easy. Just need to make sure I have the right size. |
Ok, for the X5 does the engine mount bracket need to come off, or not?

Got the bracket out. Took me a minute to find the last bolt hidden behind the tensioner.
Turns out, my gasket wasn't the source of my oil leak. It was the o rings to the t stat the whole time. Lol But the coolant t stat is being changed too, to a 90c one. As my current housing seal is sweating and my front guibo is about done too. Done for today.
