If doing heads stick with stock valvesprings. Don't want to fight the Vanos.

Product I went with: https://store.vacmotorsports.com/vac...ads-p1093.aspx

That's an impressive re-machined product. I think it prices me out at this time but I'd love to go that route someday.
Thanks for the addition to my wish list!

What do you think the HP/TQ gain is with the heads? Why did you choose the Stage 1 over the Stage 2 heads?

I've honestly no clue on gains... butt dyno was happy with fresh heads tho! VAC recommended stage 1 over 2 due to heavy valvespring vs vanos issue. Very cool that they don't oversell. Always easy to work with those guys.

Christmas came early this year.

I thought the toughest part of this project would be the tune or the hose/electrical connections made right or even the breaking down and rebuilding the 4.6... Nope, it was removing the plastic wrap from the engine today!!! I'm so f'n excited. I think I wore the wrong skirt for the job though. http://i326.photobucket.com/albums/k...pssa2b2yg9.jpg
