Window Trim discoloration
I just tried the Meguiars #9 swirl remover on my window trim and it does absolutely nothing. Has anyone tried the other products recommended?

yea i had the same experience nothing works. i tried everything does anyone know how to get rid of that crap on the shadowline window trim

Hey, I use meguires #9 too, just used some yesterday because I was trying to remove some scratches on my side mirrors, it worked well for that. As for the window trim, I am able to remove the discoloration, but if you wet it again with water it reappears. Did you use a machine? I want to try that next, I did mine by hand.

I use the Mothers Back to Black on all my 'black' parts it does a great job take off the oxidation, etc on the trim pieces...might have to use it a couple times to see a difference. I also use it on the interior..and OMG it looks great on everything really brings the blacks back to life.

After trying several products...I found that Mothers Back to Black worked best for me.

i'm getting discoloration on the plastic trim around the wheel well. does mothers work on that? ...unless that's what you meant bmergrl :confused:

RadioX5... I use it on everything black inter/exterior!!!! I think it works wonderfully and brings the luster back.
