Pin 2 from the ignition goes to the fuse box, doesn't it? Supplying power to a bank of fuses? Or am I reading that backwards?
F3 runs F11,F12,F13,F14, and F15, running a wide range of things, like the immobilizer, Steering Angle Sensor, Anti-Theft, etc |
Pin 2 and 9 both go to the fusebox.
Pin 2 goes to pin 5 on connector X10459 Pin 9 goes to pin 10 on connector X10459 I'm not sure about F3 I'd like to find out a diagram or pinout for X10459.. https://i.ibb.co/9n73Qsz/Screenshot-...412-Chrome.jpg https://i.ibb.co/wL0VVKM/Screenshot-...438-Chrome.jpg https://i.ibb.co/87QG3v7/Screenshot-...449-Chrome.jpg |
This is what I have, assuming it's the same on your car.
It's not a pinout, but rather just pulling some info off what I can see on some diagrams I have that I used to troubleshoot a specific problem. Pin 5 on X10459 goes to : Horn Relay behind glove box, F9, F7, F8, F36, F37, F39, F41, F42, F44, and F45. Pin 10 on X10459 goes to : F1, F5, F2, F3, F6, F31, F32, F33, F34 Pin 1 on X10459 Wiper Relay Pin 4 on X10459 Ground under passenger seat That's the only places it's showing that connector on what I have. I know it's probably not all of the pins, but maybe that helps. |
Thanks for the info!
I remember when I installed remote on e39, purple wire on ignition switch was for accessories and green for ignition. Although I had 3 green wires on e39, and only have one on e53 |
