Really considering the Remus for my 2005 X5 4.8is. I really like the look of the quad tips and new is only $1183. That Eisenmann deal sounds good but would have to take off the flat oval tips and put on new quad pipes. How hard is that? My shop here could handle anything but they recently got a Remus account and are "pushing" those and have three they did on BMWs recently. They all sound great and LOOK very nice, just not sure they do what and Eisenmann does on quality of materials and sound. Opinions? |

Anyone know if that eBay auction fits the 4.8is?

My Remus exhaust. Happy to answer any questions
E54jay4.8is asked for a few sound clips of mine. Took these this afternoon.
https://youtu.be/5kn34Y1AoCs https://youtu.be/rdtDSl5aSfc Original everything from the header back to the Remus. All resonators cats and original piping are there. Happy to answer any questions. |

Hey Mike thanks for following through with a clip. Yours sounds mean and aggressive. Good stuff. |
For whatever its worth, I have 4.6is with Eisenmann Race and the 4.8is with X-pipe and resonator removed. The 4.8is with X-pipe is lot louder and throatier.
I am happy with 4.8is setup. So, if you want to save money, X-pipe minus resonator is a good option. |
