help with aux water pump

got my pa software today all set up and running got an error for aux water pump i try to erase the error code but it won't clear so does that mean my aux water pump is bad.?? or is there a sure way to test it.??

Diagnostics tells you that something is not working or not working as it should. However the component may not be working because of some other fault upstream, such as a blown fuse. Lots of people waste money replacing stuff that's actually ok because they don't find the true cause first.

The auxiliary water pump supply is from the auxiliary heater, most commonly fitted to diesels in colder climates than yours. If you really have this heater the PCB is a common failure, due to failed resistors.

The auxiliary water pump runs on 12 volts so pretty easy to check. If you can't feel or hear the pump running with engine running, check to make sure there is power getting to the pump. If there is power then pull off connector and check for continuity of the pump motor.

I have the same error "short circuit" but the heat runs fine in my car so i'm not worrying about it much

The heater will work better with the auxiliary pump, more noticeable in colder climates, and the "rest" or "max" heat will not work properly without the auxiliary pump.

ok if i turn the heat on while car is running good hot heat coming out disconnect elect plug
check with test light no voltage but if i turn the ac on while in heat then i get voltage to pin on plug but only for a few seconds it does this for every time the ac recycles on and off
is that the way it works.??

As far as I know mine runs all the time the engine is running and a few seconds after engine is off, and when "rest" heat is used. Mine pump was open circuit, probably bad brushes, so I just replaced it and didn't have to check much further.

:DIf u mean fuse for webasto heating it is second from the back! If u have webasto... but u can connect webasto directly with just one wire... I have T60 telestart with 3 pins only...if u have FL car than u have T90 telestart with 10pins may be, but with 3 wires any way!... it is located near battery with radio model! But I disconnect webasto because it takes more fuel when it is pumping together my diesel :D

I am not sure do u really need it! That is the way how u can start webasto in winter with remote control with universal transmitter when u retrofit it! I bought long range transmitter, but wrong one..distance in free area 3000m(written in manual :D )
I have uploaded the video on youtube how webasto works without nothing with one wire..but that's in my language :D
