Hi all

I have now got the car scanned properly and there are quite a few codes on the car, some of them i assume will not be related. I have listed them below:

Digital Motor Electronics (DME) (me9n62_2)
29CC - Combustion misfires, several cylinders
29CD - Combustion misfires, cyliner 1

Electronic Transmission Management (EGS)(gs19a)
4F7A - Signal faulty from transfer box

Instrument Cluster (IKE)
(189) - BD Electronic braking force distribution

Anti-lock braking system with DSC (ABS/DSC)(dxc8)
5F39 - Transfer case: internal
5EB1 - Steering-angle sensor, supply

Central Body Electronics (ZKE)
Door - mirror, driver's side, horizontal adjustment potentiometer
Compartment - sensor, passenger
Door - mirror, driver's side, vertical adjustment potentiometer

Electronic Height Control (EHC)(ehc_2n2)
32 - CAN Bus

Transfer Case (VTG)(vgsg83)
5462 - Servomotor or coupling force too high
5463 - Mechanism faulty

Steering Angle sensor (LEW)

09 - Internal fault (RAM)
11 - Sensor/vehicle allocation incorrect or not available

On Board Monitor / Control Panel (BMBT)
0001 - 01 Control unit reset

As you can see, there a quite a lot of errors, with some other problems as well.

I have a problem with the folding mirror aspect in that they will fold then open again immediately afterwards. They will not stay folded. I assume that error is listed above (Not really worried about this at the moment).

I am hoping that a lot of those are all related. My main aim here is to fix the trifecta light issue. Does that help in identifying the main issue? Where is the best place to decipher the codes?

Thanks for all your help - I appreciate it.

Did you have the X checked to assure that you have proper voltage for the vehicle? Got make sure that this is okay before moving on.

Not specifically, but it does have a brand new battery in it if that helps.

Alternator might not be supplying voltage/current. It's happened to me before. A whole host of things can come up. Just stick a multimeter on it to verify the battery and system is ~14.2+/- while at idle. That will rule out the charging system.

After that, based on those errors... could be a few things that were mentioned before. Do you get a distinct clicking sound from under the vehicle when parking and shutting the vehicle off?
