Ok - I think I have figured out what is going on, but I don't really understand the guys' thinking -

basically the Eonon harness was correctly installed with the two (17-pin and 40-pin) female plugs connected to the BM54 Business Radio...

...but then instead of just connecting the Eonon harness to the original female counterparts from the audio system, he just chopped the original plugs off and cut the wires to the Sub...

This connector seems to have no counterpart - is this howcome the parking sensors don't work??

Sorry to hijack the thread - it is about an Eonon radio unit which I am fairly impressed by (at least compared to a HU with a cassette tape player!), although I cannot appreciate the sound quality due to the disconnected Sub during the botched installation. I'll be going back there tomorrow to discuss it.

Check your rear PDC harness both at the right rear of the spare tire area where the bumper harness connects to the chassis harness. From there it goes to the PDC module right where all the work was done.

I'm kinda struggling with the image in my mind of the "kind of ghetto area" in Abu Dhabi... ;)

I have friends that live in the tall building there, shaped like a you-know-what... the rooftop pool is awesome :))
The manual trades district is a bit more down-to-earth though

I will check the looms in the morning (with the time difference, it just turned 3 am here). Crowz's iBus pages are working fine from here :)

I'm keeping it off the road now unless taking it for work, as it needs both front shocks replacing - it's quite a bumpy ride!

I'm interested to try the Bluetooth with the front (internal) mic as well - the long wire on the external one, mounted on top of the steering column, made for pretty terrible audio, but was installed at the same time so I haven't tried disconnecting it before.
