Ah, sorry, I didnt check the video in the link actually, was going off Green Dragon's post only for that. Also just to show the OP how the tilted can muflers mount up.
Another option I was wondering about would be a UUC TSE 330i muffler (a 2 can side by side muffler) split to two. At least that would be a system designed for an M54 engine. |

I will repost the clips when I get on my computer a setup a new You Tube user. Short answer. The long magnaflow cans sounded great with and without headers. I don't remember much drone at all with that setup and would be a safe recommendation. It had a nice growl. Paired with headers it sounded exotic. I find that video clips often don't capture or represent well the BMW I6. They tend to pick up and emphasize a particular tone. Maybe you guys have noticed this as well. |
