How they abreviate 'Integrated Supply Module' to 'IVM' is beyond me. But here it is: RealOEM.com - Online BMW Parts Catalog

Yeah, free shipping if you have Amazon Prime. How about warranty? That BMW online store gives 2 years and at times they don't care and just exchange anyway after 2 years. And as for returns you can return at any time as long as it's not used (I've returned unused stuff after 2 years!). The best place to buy is actually FCPEuro ($101) where you get freeshipping+Life time warranty+Anytime returns on anything you buy from them.

IVM = Integriertes Versorgungsmodul (Integrated Supply Module - in German). ;)

can hear it. It has done this since I have owned it.

I have no codes, very good gas mileage, great power.
I only get the stumble at idle, don't see or feel it at cruise RPM.

Any ideas where to start looking?

Hi , when I changed mine out the rpm were around 500 , to low for the eninge to function correctly , when I would start the x5 the LOW OIL PRESSURE , warning would come on, After I changed it the rpm's are 650 and idles great, And I changed my vanos solenoids and now , the engine is like new ............low end torque is back , she flies like like bird now.and mpg is much better too, tranny is shifting on cue ...............fun to drive now
