i would double check the coil packs. make sure they are fully seated and plugged in all the way.

have you scanned for codes to see which cylinders are misfiring?

Here we go again....

Replacement of plugs will not cause a miss fire. Installing plugs not gapped correctly will. Pulling the coils out and creating additional resistance on the plug boots will. Forgetting to torque the plugs all the way into the heads will. Forgetting to install the coil ground straps will. Not reconnecting all the primary wire quick connects will. Having oil etc in the plug valley holes and the screwing in the plugs will. etc etc etc.

Solution: There are only 8 plugs in a 4.4 V8. Remove, inspect plug gaps with thin wire gaping tool. Replace all 8 coil boots if origina (see images below if you have "old style coils") These are really very short plug wires. They have a lifespan of 10 years and or 80K. When the resistance exceeds the coil out put, miss fire occur and engine stumbles on hard acceleration and part throttle acceleration.
Add dielectric grease to the plug end of the boots, as this will lock out moisture and oil. This product is available the same place you purchased your plugs. Just need a dab in the boot.
Check each connector, ground wire and make sure it is not trapped under the coil pack.

Plug Gap: .032"
Torque: 20 Ftlbs
Boots Tip: Buy the ones for your coils (Bremi or Bosch)

Ever solve this?
