Dead thread, but this is the only thread with useful info on a DTC of 2B71 for the DME. Just to be clear, Bzuefishx, you have an e53 4.8is N62 engine, right? The heated steering wheel threw me, because I didn't think that was an option, unless it only came on '06.
I've had the same code (along with a bunch others, but that needs another thread), and an indy had no idea what to do with it. So check fuel pressure? Mine is at 158k, with a fuel pump replaced at 125k, but I know the fuel filter has never been replaced. |
