The BC generally reads about 0.3-0.5v low - my BC says 13.8 but a Fluke meter on the jumper terminals tells me 14.2v (car running). Seeing 13.8 on the BC sounds about right.

Now I'm just trying to fix what I Potentially fu##ed up. But it's not MAF, it's Not Voltage, it's NOT fuses, so I welcome any other inputs. Sorry if I sound like an ass, but I've been breaking my head over this for 4 days now... And ready to do some snappage :( |
Little bit of a thread revival here but I just recently changed out my starter and had to remove the Throttle Body as well as the intake manifold. After reassembly I have the trans fail safe and my scan tool gave me error code "EGS CAN torque interface"
Are there any vacuum lines that come off of the transmission that I may have missed? Edit Some reading I have been doing suggest that the MAF has something to do with this code. Well I have a MAF no signal code that won't clear so I'm a order a new MAF and see if that clears the code. |
So today I replaced the faulty MAF and cleared all the codes with my scan tool including the Trans Fail Safe Warning. Drove around for awhile and error did not return. I can't believe that the MAF had something to do with that code but it did. Good fix

But I was going to say that's exactly the issue I was having before I swapped out the MAF. "funny" thing is that the car was sitting for a while waiting for me to get off my ass and change the starter, but absolutely no other issues beforehand. |
I was researching my errors and stumbled on this thread
I changed the MAF sensor multiple times as I have like 5 spares, and it's still the same error. https://i.ibb.co/B6ZBJyH/20220131-122447.jpg https://i.ibb.co/3d0zzJL/20220131-181208.jpg https://i.ibb.co/bXWsNbk/20220131-122437.jpg https://i.ibb.co/PQXFrsj/20220131-122322.jpg |
